Here, lies the humble and great palace of a king, one and only in the world. Preserved and respected place as history being visited once more. As a nature lover, i am very well pleased at the scenic place from flowers, plants, trees and the seaside. A great landscape it is fit for a King.

You must visit this place if you stay in Cha Am. One of the best King Palace of Thailand you can see. It was a very good time during my stay.

This is a royalty place and with all royalty/religious places, you are required to wear decently to the place. Hence, no short pants, skirts, tight jeans/pants, sleeveless shirt, etc. It's advisable to wear long sleeve and long pants/blouse. If you happen to miss it, you may pay a minimal fee for them to pass you the Thai traditional sarong to... More

I like this simply because the Palace is in tiffany blue. The Palace is breautiful, we took lots photos there. Don't forget to charge your camera before you come. Not many tourists on Monday and we enjoyed to walk around.

This place, with the colonial type of building sitting in a beautiful garden by the sea, should be filled with history, love and romance. After visiting this place, however, our "sweet memories" with this place is instead filled with all the "cannot" instructions by the staff there. For examples Cannot go to the second floor Cannot go to the beach... More

we loved spending time here it was stunning, we spent around 3 hours in total looking at the old kings palace the gardens are well kept and the views of the sea are fantastic, there are multi lingual signs that tell you what went on and the who the rooms belong to. Could not recommend this place higher to visit.

A beautiful seaside home built for King Rama VI in the 1920's. This is a wonderful representation of traditional Thai style buildings. Take the time to walk the grounds and then tour the house when your appointed time arrives. Be certain to go through the museum at the end of the tour and read the long history of Thailand's diplomatic... More

I worked here with 100 other student for two weeks as part of the Thai VERNADOC trip, documenting the palace. An amazing timber structure built in 1923 - 24 for the King Rama VI as a summer palace. Sits on a beautiful beach front with amazing buildings, over 400 metres of elevated walkways, magnificent gardens that are being restored back... More
