This is the place where laos, myanmar, and thailand meet. If you have plan to cross the border to myanmar, apply e-visa ahead. A short trip to laos does not require visa. The boat riding along mekong river was fun.

Nice view to see huge Mekong River and another two countries - Lao and Myanmar. Go to Opium museum, to see real history and life of opium smokers.

Fascinating to see 3 countries from one spot. Great drive up there as scenery superb and you can go on a longboat and visit Myanmar or Laos if you like or just go up the Maekong
