A must see
Dec 2020
Located not to far outside of town it is certainly worth the effort. A very unique chedi built in honour of the previous king. Easily spend an hour or so looking around and taking pics. I was lucky to be the only person there the day I visited. My hotel negotiated a tuk tuk for me.

A place really worth visiting.
Nov 2019
I had friends taking me here and the place is really special. The second floor is a strange contraption with bowls for putting money in.I really loved my stay and the place is really serene. Take your time when visiting!

Stainless Steel Temple
Dec 2019
It is not easy to make one’s way to Phra Maha Chedi Tripob Trimongkol, without prearranged transportation. It is considered far from the city and the winding and narrow road to go up the hill. We were there during day time and it was less people during we were there. We love the upper level stainless steel structures of the pagoda and how the winds blows the chimes and calmness that we experienced there. The murals at the bottom level too are beautiful. It is indeed a special temple because we could rarely see a temple structure using stainless steel. Worth to go when you are in Hat Yai

Serene but that is all
Dec 2019 • Family
I went in the afternoon 12th Dec. Temple is beautiful and Calming. Great for vlog or photo taking. Hot weather, but i brought a fan with me.
Not much visitors at noon, so can stroll relaxed and not getting photobombed. I will try go at late evening or night next time to see the temple with lights lit up.
Remember to bring drinking water (snack optional) as there are no shop or stall nearby.

beautiful temple!

Lucky to have a Grab driver that can answer all question that I asked regarding the temple. Not suitable to walk there because it is located at the hills. The temple is very beautiful and I believe the view is spectacular at night with all the lamps.

A Wat With A Wow Effect !!
Oct 2019
This is one of the Hatyai trip worth coming for a visit, it is the stainless steel temple – Phra Maha Chedi Tripob Trimongkol situated on top of a hill not too high around the same vicinity of the " I Am Cake" hilltop restaurant and chill place. This wat is really beautiful & well maintained, & the most remarkable feeling for me especially, when steps into a Thai temple I will have that immediate soul detoxification feeling. We feel all our problems and pressing issues are left behind us, we feel at peace and happy.... yes, happy. This temple does that to me !
And while I was inside the dome shape chedi exploring the upper floor and there was a gush of soft wind blowing in..... OMG, the sound of those thousand leaves chimes made were such soothing musical sound that instantly made one feels so serene. I wished it would go on and on and made more musical sound. I do hope you, the readers would have this experience when you go visit this temple. It is not a big temple but beautiful also a nice size to walk around and probably to find a quiet place to sit and do some soul searching. Or just stay quiet for sometime just to listen to your life. I like this temple and I will come back again. Thanks to those who put in their passions and hard work to create such a magnificent temple for others to enjoy and a place to find ourselves once in a while. Great place, do go. Enjoy !

Beautiful and unique
Oct 2019
This is a beautiful and unique temple that is probably nothing like other temples you have seen in Thailand. The bells are contribute to the serene atmosphere.
There are a couple of issues you need to be aware. There is a wide open space in front of the temple where you have to take off your shoes and depending on whether it is a really hot day or raining could be quite inconvenient, Also as some have pointed, there are mosquitoes in the evening so take the usual precaution.
