The Huay Mongkol Temple, known for the Luong Phor Tuad Statue (Big Buddhist Monk Statue) is certainly worth the trip. Not only is the big monk statue breathtaking, it's also lacking a lot of tourists, avoiding the classic tourist traps.

Worth the visit as part of a more extensive tour around Hua Hin and outlying districts. Can be quite hot so pick the right time of day - there are quite a few shaded areas too. Can get busy.
