This was a great place to sit around and eat and have a drink. The market was ok. The food was terrific and their is live music, cocktails and food. Open Friday Saturday and Sunday evenings and it gets very busy. To buy food you...More

Friday/Saturday /Sunday evenings can be spent in this good place where you can find life music, a big food court (coconut ice-cream is really good) and a huge market of hand-made things with reasonable prices

I did not like this market overall. I found the setting far too "dolled-up" and pretentious. Like a generic family night market found anywhere in the world. Actually an interesting market overall (though far from an authentic local market) but I found the environment very...More

No, it has nothing to do with cicadas (insects) – it’s a beautiful night market open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 4-11 pm (though it doesn’t really get going until around 6). What makes it so different is that Cicada has high quality arts and...More

Nice music and good food. Well laid out, spacious and artsy. A little pricey and set up for exclusively tourists. Worth the visit for entertainment, but would not rate a return visit. Good for people watching. Tough parking.

It’s a market with some local craftsmanship (ok), food (nothing very spectacular I think that local restaurants outside of the market offer better and cheaper food) and all other possible useless things. It’s very crowded and the music was so loud we could not talk....More

Best market I’ve ever seen! This is not like a typical Thai market. Love the concept they have. Could definitely travel back to Thailand, and shop here again!

A great market and well worth the visit. The artisan market is excellent and I bought several beautiful lace tops which were hand made. More individual stalls selling some traditional and some not so traditional things. Great atmosphere. Local artists selling watercolours and all sorts...More

It is not walking distance (or a loooong walk LOL). It's an easy 5 min tuk tuk ride. We stay at Centara and it's 150 Baht each way. There are plenty of tuk tuks outside Hilton, and likewise outside Cicada. Only operates... More
