Lunch at Monsoon Winery

Visited for lunch with friends. It was a nice scenic drive. The lunch and wine were great. A trip of the winery on the van is recommended.

We visited and had a snack/drinks. There is a lovely upmarket restaurant offering a large selection of local and western foods. The food was delicious. I can personally recommend the mango and sticky rice. Tours are available to take you through the extensive vineyard and it seems that you can also take a tour on elephant back!

A 45 minute car ride from Hua Hin, this vineyard has a first class restaurant and, of course, superb wine. The service was excellent and the entire day, which included elephant rides and a tour, were well organised and far better than the average. Highly recommended.

Leaving blends and Shiraz aside, the offer is surprisingly wide. Chenin Blanc, Colombard, Muscat, white Shiraz and Tempranillo was an interesting range to try out. And yes, much more to my taste than another recent experience. And, keeping in mind alcohol to be very expensive inThailand, at a reasonable price level. Not sure about the food quality, as we only... More

The food is great here, real cuisine; and the wines are excellent. The lovely white colombard is really perfect. They offer wine pairings which are fun. Sitting with a view of the vineyards and mountains, while elephants amble through, makes this place the perfect lunch spot. It's about 40 minutes out of Hua Hin and worth the drive.

Thailand can actually make rather good wines. Ride the elephant tour in the winefields and enjoy the wines and some excelent food in the restaurant. Buy some bottles of wine for souveniers to bring back home. No matter the weather - worth going !

Such a disappointment!! Very basic and unfriendly service, staff need training and English skills, no vegetarian options, however I was offered to replace bacon with mushrooms on some dishes so that was nice but one dish on the menu that is vegetarian would be nice for choice for people who prefer to live a non-kill lifestyle, not to mention no... My first time at a Winery in Thailand and was I pleasantly surprised. We started with a glass each of the Columbard 2016 and it was clean and crisp much to my surprise so much so we bought some to take home for that very evening. Then we had a Bottle of the 2015 Shiraz to have with lunch. The... More
