Went there with my girl friend as we wanted to have a look a floating market. First of all they ask you to pay 200 baht if you are a foreigner and Thais are free!? Very strange as in other country's we never got priced more as locals. I don't even mind to pay if I get something to see,... More

If you want to be deceived and ripped off then this is the place to go. With so much negative reporting on Trip Advisor it is hard to understand why people still come to this place. Lots of tourists arrive on buses so perhaps the coach tour companies are remunerated well if they bring their passengers here.

Do not waste your time and money on this attraction. Total tourist trap. Nothing worth seeing. Food is much better in downtown Hua Hin and you don't have to pay the ridiculous entrance fee!

Free for thais and 200 bahts entrance fee for foreigners. This entrance fee gives you the right to shopping in a small and ordinary floating market with few shops selling exactly the same things which can be found anywhere else at inflated prices. A shame that tourism authorities let places like this run their scam without impunity and don't understand... More

I found this market on my way to somewhere else. I thought the floating market is something like selling things on those boats which are floating on water, but it's nothing like that. We did a short trip on a boat which is mandatory, and there was nothing to see on the lake. And the entrance ticket for foreigners seems... More

Sometimes it can be moderately fun to get bamboozled as a tourist but this market really is beyond a joke: 200bht entry - unless you are Thai native or tourist catlle herded by a tour operator. The entrance fee included a 'boat trip' which is 5 minutes in a noisy boat. It's not a floating market but jyst a small... More

Entrance fee for foreigners: 200 Baht, Thais: free, you can't buy anything while being on a boat, you can just walk around and do shopping in many, many small shops. One can take a boat around (for free though you need to wait quite long for one) but we thought it would be useless. Generally a waste of time and... More
