It is like stepping back in time and certainly worth seeing but no need to spend much time there. The architecture is interesting and it is well maintained. Would definitely consider using it as a transportation stop in the future.

Travelling up to Bangkok. Train on time. 3rd class - really interesting. Worth a visit just to see the station.

The station's architecture was quite old. The waiting area for the royalty was interesting. We took the train down to Hua Hin at night and it was quite busy. I did not see many shops in the station. It was a bit smaller than I expected.

If you are staying locally then it is worth a stroll down to the station. It is a very pretty station and quite strange to see people walking on the tracks! It is very humbling to see the families that live on the side of the tracks.

The Railway Station is in the middle of Hua Hin and always surrounds by lots of people. Some nice photo opps and of course if you want a train experience a great jumping on point. Sorry to see friends leave...but happy to take them, no need to arrive too early, no place to store luggage and you are responsible for... More

We came because our son got the train from here and told us how beautiful it was, he was right..! Kept immaculately this little time warp is a great visit and I'm not a train buff. Spent half an hour just wandering around looking at the old train and especially the little wooden Royal waiting room.
