It was a 2 hour drive from Bangkok but Our visit to the safari park was just fantastic. We got to feed a 5 month old lion cub (or tigers or leopards if you prefer). Then went in the bus to see and feed the animals. To have a giraffes head poking through the window for a banana is just... More

This zoo really cares about their animals. When the zoo first opened it was a terrible place, typical Thai zoo. But with the help of the volunteers this place is learning more and more about correct animal welfare all the time. The best parts of the zoo are the large safari area and the rescue centre. The safari is home... More

About 2-3 hours drive from Bangkok, the Safari Zoo & Open Camp is a worthwhile visit, especially for city-dwellers who have limited options to interact with wild animals. The animal park is entered utilizing on-site buses which depart every 10 minutes or so. Several international volunteers working there so it's comfortable to ask detailed questions about the wildlife. Lions, tigers,... More

Good to see the wild animals very closely. But felt sad when they run behind to your safari bus forgetting some food. It's lost its nature!!!. but sure kids will enjoy a lot to see the animals very closely.

Face it, traveling for children is not their favorite thing. The Safari Park does a decent job of a bus tour through various habitats featuring tigers, lions, giraffes, etc. It was my first opportunity to see some of these animals without intervening bars. Hanging out platforms are strategically placed for close camera oppportunities. The highlight by far, was the giraffe... More

My wife and I booked this trip through Tours with Tong. They picked us up from our hotel in Bangkok and drove us out to the Safari Park. The park was about 2.5 hours from our hotel in Bangkok. We decided on the VIP experience offered by Tours with Tong. When we arrived at the park, my wife and I... More

My girlfriend and I came here while in Bangkok and decided to go all out. Our experience included: the opportunity to walk a lion and a tiger (each in the 9-12 month range); play with a 9-12 month old leopard in its "playground"; feed fully grown lions (including the biggest lion "Simba"), tigers (including their biggest tiger), and leopards through... My fiance and I are huge animal lovers so we absolutely loved it here- especially because of the 3 adorable six week old tiger cubs we got to play with and feed! they were adorable and so sweet and playful, this made my trip!
