high tide until later in the morning but after then a nice quiet area to sit and relax and go swimming

Beach abandoned and filled with trash. Path to go there is filled with trash too should know what was coming. It’s sad to see the beach like that

Loved the hotel. It's far from the main market however is worth staying because of the beautiful beach view. Restaurant is overpriced will all the dishes priced at around 200+ baht but the view outside restaurant is awesome

A pristine and beautiful beach. Very quiet on the day we visited. I enjoyed watching a group of 7 elephants playing in the water with their mahouts.

Phuket is full of nice sea beaches. this is one of them. good clean sea beach. u can do snorkelling here too.

Best beach in phuket for sure! no salesmen around and very nice beach! Can def recommend this one, good restaurants nearby, ( Loy lom bar grill), also rosewood have a good thai resturant.

This beach is close to Paradise beach and is a bit out of the way. It has a nice walkway for some of the beach. A few restaurants but not as many as most of the beaches.

I stayed in the merlin hotel here and the beach is very clean and beautiful and to me too quiet! no chairs here at all so need to bring your own beach towels

the elephants have relocated a few times, currently they are south of patong on Tri Trang (drive to Phuket Marriot Resort and Spa (Tri Trang Brach), continue past the hotel on thanon taweewong rd.. at the top of the hill before the SHARP left turn is "Letong Bar and Restaurant" park there and take stairs down to elephants!

Would love to see the elephants but don’t like the idea that people ride the elephants ! Are they treated very badly there ? I know they are treated very badly in parts of Thailand

hey Muca55 - they will let you ride them here but its not essential - they have no seat strapped to them around their body which hurts - you hold onto a rope if you do it - i chose not to, you will instead play with the elephants in the sea - i did feel sorry for them coming down the steep hill, my little 7 year old girl had a little ride on the baby but she soon got down - they charge you extra for the photos they re not edited and bright colors but as i'm a pro photographer i got some amazing photos of my little girl being picked up out of the sea by their trunk

You need a taxi or tuktuk, which are pretty expensive (100-200 Baht one way), better rent a motorbike for 150 Baht and use a map or your mobile to navigate to there, it's not far from patong Beach.

They’re never at this beach you only buy your tickets to visit them from this beach then you go to another beach not far away to visit the elephants, well worth doing
