Paid THB 1700 per pax for 8 fights which lasted around 3 hours. You can't bring food and drinks inside the boxing stadium. The drinks are relatively inexpensive - thb 80 for a can of coke and thb 150 for a bottle of beer. Provides pretty good night entertainment if you are sick of roaming the bangla walking street. Can... More

We had planned to attend the fights at Bangla Stadium during our visit, but with the national tragedy recently occurring, all sporting events were cancelled. However, I have been to this stadium in the past. There are great views of the ring from the stands with uninterrupted views. However, although ringside gets you closer to the action (you can hear... Interesting and unique . Quite enjoyable experience to see the levels of ability and age of this form of contact sport. Ritual and atmosphere. A good introduction while on vacation.

I attended the boxing one night to see the Mauy Thai boxing. There were 6 fights in all...three of which ended up with knock-outs. Plenty of action and the company gave you a souvenir T-shirt. I'd go again on my next visit.

MUY Thai Don't purchase ring side seats! I bought stadium seats(1,700bahts $48)and the group I came with bought Ring side(2,000baht $57) and VIP seats(2,500baht $71). I ended up sitting with the group of friends even though i paid for stadium because they don't tell you where to sit and they don't check if you're sitting in the right location. They... More

An exciting evening filled with action and passion. You discover what Thai Box is all about! Had a seat directly next to the stairs where the boxer goes into the ring. This makes you be part of the fight! Only thing is the gentlemen in the toilets that start cracking your back when washing your hands. They do it so... More

As long term stayers in Phuket, we have been to Bangla Boxing Staduim a few times when we have friends in town. If you haven't seen Muay Thai Boxing it's worth a look. However, it's relatively expensive - 2000Baht per person (as are beers when you get it). As such there was only tourists there watching the fights, so the... More
