I stayed here over 20 years ago and had a ball but despite bags of buildings and eateries all over the place, nothing much had changed. The kerbs need sorting though before there are some major injuries.

We stayed in Rawai across December/January 2017-18 and this was the best beach we visited by far! So clean and beautiful!

Rawai beach in the center is not a beach that need any positive recommendation. It’s more a harbor for Chinese tourists who jump in a speedboat and come back at the end of the day. Hundreds of modern boats spoil the horizon... ❌ no fun.....More

Lots of restaurants who serve you from the other side of the road, but the quality is unfortunately not so good, have tried most of them... But, relax with a drink and just watch everything...that's having a good time, isn't it?

Sun rises about 6:30am Had a good 2.4km run, twice a week. Low ride during these early morning opens up a good stretch of the beach that’s ideal for an early morning run.

Rawai beach is where you will find traditional Thai boats and boats for trips in the Andaman Sea. Rawai does not have a huge sand, but is still worth a visit with lots if restaurants for a bite to eat.

Hi sorry just saw your question. There are lots along Rawai beach . you wouldn't have problem getting one at all. They ask 1300 baht but you can get it cheaper
