Typical local beach, during the weekend day many families use this beach to relax swimming and picnic. In late afternoon the local restaurants are built up and many possibilities to enjoy local food on the beach. Convenient, nice. Less farang but best place to enjoy an evening atmosphere in real Thailand. Unfortunately the beach is not always clean. Rayong municipality should pay more attention. Several times also companies take initiative to clean this beach. Very popular at local community.

We went on a Sunday and had to wait for seating under an umbrella. the area was not very clean. it might be ok on a less crowded day.

The rock walls along the beach from a pretty shape to observe from above. It could be a nice place to chill on the evening for sunset and some nice seafood dinner.

I think this beach is quiet and a little bit dirty. There has a fisherman village that you can buy a cheap seafood. I think the local seafood restaurant is good. (Cheap and delicious) About hotel , you must booking at Rayong city is cheap , clean, new more. Cheapest hotel price around 700bht/ night. Nearby Bangkok hospital. I like to have seafood here.

Seang Chan Beach is not visually attractive because rock groins have been built along it to stop beach erosion.
In mild tides, these groins provide little "bays" in which Thai families like to picnic and let their kids paddle in the water.
But be careful. When there are stronger seas the tide can wash through the groin entrances and even over the rock walls, flood the artificial bay, then backwash with a ferocity that has to be seen to be believed.
Last week a toddler was washed out to sea and has not been found since.

Been here yearssssss ago and drove pass it many times but didn't have chance to make a turn or stop by.
I enjoyed the evening sight and drive very much. It was a quiet beach.
The beach is NOT SAFE FOR SWIM, DO NOT SWIM OUTSIDE BARRIER. THEY HAVE RIP CURRENT.

We were impressed how nicely the beach has been maintained, there are restaurants on the beach and few across the road but not to many and I would call it a peaceful beach , the sand is nice soft and good stretches where you can swim . Also not too many hotels on the beach road , there were no beach sports at all , visitors enjoy just swimming and picnic on the beach .

So much trash. Why do Thais not throw trash in waste bins? Thais don't seem to mind how dirty this place is. Kids swim in trash and plastic bag infested waters. Thais come to picnic and leave coke bottles, potato chips bags all over the place with absolutely no sense of ownership. Let this place rot in peace.

It is a long beach with a few food stalls that sell seafood and different stir fry Thai dishes. Great place for stop over and picnic while travelling about. Try not to go in the late afternoon as it would be too hot.
