Nicest Park in Udon

A nice place to spend a few hours or have a picnic. Nicely landscaped with plenty of shady places to sit or stroll on the small island. Sizeable children's playground, toilets, even a tai chi area. There's a bike path that rings the park, not sure of the overall length, maybe around 3 km. Across the road along the east side of the park, there are many local restaurants (at the north end) and a whole row of massage shops (at the south end). Prices at these massage shops are lower than those near Central Plaza, so if you're on a budget you might consider walking over to this part of town. All together, this park is absolutely worth a visit for a relaxing morning or afternoon outing.

Nice for a walk

I walked around here with a friend on a hot day and it was nice. I'd suggest morning or after 5pm to go as we were cooked. It's quite nice and scenic.

This park is nice if you want to exercise. There is a bicycle lane around the lake and a special spot for skateboards. Besides an old helikopter there is nothing else to see.
If you want to see the big yellow ducks, head for Thesa Road and follow the sign.

Best place for exercise

The best place for excercise in the central city if Udonthani Province. Here, you can walking, joging, running, aerobic dancing, biking, riding boat or others. The running track is very good, same as the bike track. The distance is around 4.5 km. You can see people visit here all day. Lots of government places and shops around.

Big garden in the big city.

Green garden in big city and very nice for refreshing of your breath.
I was luck with my trips i has a good hotel and fantastic location nearby the big hospital just cross the road to running in the morning.

Nice and green place inside the city

This is one of the most pleasant areas in Udon Thani, worth spending some time in the park - just to be away from the city noise.

A peaceful place just to walk and take in the people around you, as I had a heart attack earlier in the year I needed to walk a lot so this was the ideal place

Great park for all

I did enjoy the park particularly the middle part of it.

Make sure you see both side as the right hand side is very boring I was about to go back to hotel not realising that there’s another side so be careful.

The real winner is the walk around in the middle of the lake it’s a beautiful shaded walk way with amazing play grounds for the kids also if you keep walking you go over a gorgeous suspension bridge.

And of course you have the big yellow ducks to see in the middle of the water.

You can hire a pedal powered little duck boat to go out in the lake which looked like fun.

Hi on the afternoon when cooler lots of locals use it for running and cycling around the lake.

Nice park to rent a bicycle from nearby shop to cycle around and also to view the giant-sized yellow rubber duckies :)

I went to this park to look around and rent a bicycle (decent mountain bike, 30 THB per hour) to go around. I saw the giant-sized rubber duckies :) on the lake in the middle of the park. There isn't much shelter areas to provide shade. There is a small kids playground with a dinosaur theme :)

There are also a line of food shops along the main road at one side of the park for dining.
