This is one of the best night markets with a huge selection of stalls, bars, and places to eat. If you want to find food everything is available at competitive prices due to the large amount of competition. The market is spread over a large area, and you will need time if you want to see it all. This compares vary favourably with any markets Bangkok has to offer.

Nice clean nighttime shopping experience, with lots of clothing, toys, and gadgets on sale. Many good choices for food as well, with some tasty looking seafood - purchase a food card at the kiosk. Also many sit down restaurants, including KFC, a pizza place, Starbucks, and more. Plus loads of take-away food options in the southern section near Lotus. There's even a large stage set up for live music, although in the two nights I wandered through all they had on was piped music and sports on the big video screen. Clean toilets too. There's some benches around, in case you want to just sit and enjoy the cool evening air. Great place for people watching in a clean and comfortable environment. I would also recommend the train station night market just across the street from UD Town. Much of the same shopping and food, but with a more local crowd.

I enjoyed eating at this market afew nights on my trip to Udon Thani. There is so many amazing tasty foods to try. Go hungry and try afew dishes. All cheap food for the locals so join them and enjoy!

Located at the center of the city, this enormous open air night market is plenty of many kinds of food (local, fast food, street food, BBQ, Japanese, ice cream, alcohol, etc) and numerous types of shops (clothes, fashion, books, souvenir, spa, etc) with various styles (handmade, brand name, common, etc). A lot!
Good place to spend your nightlife. Worth visiting.

Having lived in Thailand 15 years I enjoy very much is eating the night markets in every town that I travel to here in Thailand. The night market here in udon Thani is among the best it seems to go on and on forever every type of good so you could possibly want can be found here. Not to mention a very massive food area something for everybody. If you are coming to udon Thani you don't want to miss an evening at this night market

This market is huge, it spreads across either side of the main road to the railway station and also across another main road leading towards the hospital. Very busy, plenty of variety and a huge choice of food options. But, if you are looking for a quiet spot to sit & drink or eat out of the way...I don’t think you’ll find it in the market. Plenty of nearby cafes to choose from as well though!

Night markets are interested with a variety of things to buy, it’s just not super special mainly for the locals it’s got a great atmosphere and extremely well maintained.
I did enjoy the music and entertainment worth visiting at night just for the atmosphere not so much the shopping.

This is actually a collection of a few complexes of shopping, fast food, BBQ fish etc.
UD Town itself is a collection of fast food and other restaurants.
The other complexes around this area has clothes shops , food stalls , BBQ fish etc.
Great place to dine and walk around :)
Located just beside Central Plaza mall. There is a small bus station just outside the mall going to various places such as Nong Khai etc.
