Located on the top of a hill. The best is to use the city bus to climb up. Because it is a big pleasure to walk down the hill after the visit of the castle, there are many spots to visit by walking on the way down. I went a couple of time there with my son (7 years old),... More

It is a places in Alanya you should visit. The view and landscape is spectacular! We've been visiting around noon on a day in july, maybe not the best time because it was too hot. You don't find much shadow to hide from the sun and we ran out of water. By the way, buy water in the town before... More

Walking tour for the whole day. Suitable for those interested in history, and those who are not afraid to a walk.

Drove here from Kizilot in a 27 year old Suzuki Jeep which was an experience in itself. But glad I did...stunning views and a bit of culture added to my holiday. If you are in Alanya or nearby make a point of visiting...just be prepared for a twist road trip up to the top.

It's amazing when you saw along on the rocks the system of the Castle Walls. Our tour guide explained us the entire history of the castle, as different nations have come and gone and left behind their tracks.

There are 3 ways you can see this, either use the numerous bus services to the top and back down, take a taxi [ be careful of the costs ] or do what I did, walk up the entire route. It is though a 3 mile hike to the top and back down, so it's a gruelling challenge on the... More
