An impressive small museum. Shame that the shop was completely empty and no publication was available for the contents or surrounding site.
Interesting visit, and a cool oasis on a hot day. Most exhibits outside and plenty of seats to sit and view.
This contains many artefacts from the Greco-Roman city, and especially noteworthy are the Roman sarcophagi. There are some extraordinarily beautiful examples. My favourite is is one with the gates of Hades slightly ajar with a dog's head peering out.
