Few exhibits dated 5k bC till modern age, coming from nearby hittite excavation of Kultepe. Most of findings are in the Ankara museum of Anatolian civilizations.

The museum is somewhat tatty and quite small but it contains some amazing pieces (Hittite, Roman) and is really worth a visit if you are interested in ancient treasures. The two smallish galleries contain very good information on what is on display in English.

This museum has some wonderful artifacts, but they are displayed on fabric with old-fashioned glass and wood cases. We absolutely LOVED the Hittite bathtubs, but the lighting was poor and we were there on a cloudy day.
