Having read some of the reviews of this attraction, I was really confused about which beach this actually was. Now that I've spent a good deal longer in Cesme, I hope to clear that up a bit. Location: The beach at the Cesme Merkez (near the center of town), is not off the Ilica Plaj Yolu as this attraction currently... More

I am reading reviews about Cesme public beach and it is apparent that reviewers are clearly talking about completely different beaches. In Cesme town there is a small sandy area at the end of the harbour, handy to town but nothing special and nothing much going on. Around Cesme there are numerous beaches all quite different and offering quite different... More

Just open space after a boardwalk, but there isnt anything fancy in this. Although I visited in low tourist season, this might be overcrowded in high season

too small, too many beds and too many expensive cafes and retaurants. Generally to be avoided although for some reason its popular with the rich from Izmir

If you like to enjoy a nice turquoise sea and white soft sand. I ts a place to go. Regarding where you are, restaurants a bit away.

Beautiful views and easy access into the water! Be sure to stop by one of the local stands for some oysters! The water is clean and clear and the people are friendly!

we went to a private beach in front of Mi Costa residences as we stayed there and i have to say it was cleaner and nicer then the public beach. lots of beautiful people to look at and lovely surrounding area with lots of villas to admire. and it has a life guard on duty. worth sneaking into , the... It is disgusting how many people who have children and even little babies are smoking right around them and other people with total disregard but the broken glass in the sand is dangerous. I did not take off my slippers. The water was not that great, despite the number of people there. Also I went into and I came out... More

I am not super picky and to me a beach is a beach - so I was determined to spend an afternoon at the public beach and not pay for the private experience. This beach is very popular with families. However on close inspection the sand is absolutely riddled with cigarette buts and in spots even broken glass. The water... More

While going to private beach clubs in the area can add up, the cost is worth it if you are planning on enjoying the beaches near Cesme. Most of the public beaches we visited were more like giant ash trays due to all the cigarettes. Broken glass from alcoholic bottles wasn't uncommon, and people had to pay for lounge chairs,... More
