Landmark in the city. Historical landmark. Walk around, read up the plaques, pictures, feed the pigeons, 17th century mosque nearby and markets.

This historic place is more beautiful at night. I've heard the history of this clock tower refers to a century ago.

You’ll see its drawing on Rakı glasses, it’s on the city’s logo everywhere. The circle where the clock tower is in has an important historic meaning.

This was a meeting point for all Izmir citizens but now it lost its charm, beauty, interest and attractiveness by real Izmir citizens. Invaded by foreign people who are not from Izmir at all. Still very historical but not beautiful as it was before.
