One of the Oldest Masque!

This is one of the oldest masque in Izmir and has wonderful view. It was built in 1597. It has been standing so much years! Its history itself! Worth yo visit!!

Even if you are not a Muslim, go inside. You will find much beauty and quitness. You will love the decoration, it is rafinated and spiritual

The mosque is situated now in heart of Kemeraltı district. It is covered by Kızlarağası Han, many more shops and food courts now. The mosque was built in 1597 and because of that it is the oldest one standing by now. Must see !

Old historical location at the middle of the big pazar and you can find a lot of cafe ,resturant near by.

in the centre of the bazar. very busy working mosque. an interesting visit to get a sense of daily community life in izmir. open to non moslems but you must take off shoes and wear head cover for women and leg cover arm cover for both men and some n the mosque officials will help you to cover - they... This is a quality old mosque with tons of charachter, history and a warm welcome at Friday Prayers. Well worth seeking out.

this mosque is located in konak square and next to clock tower.its architectuers is very beautiful.hisar mosque is very small but very clean and men can pary in groundfloor but women should go to first floor.

beautiful building .. be careful only men allowed downstairs, women are to go upstairs. Women to wear long skirt, headscarf and take off shoes. There are lockers for your shoes with a key. No cost.

Hisar Mosque, recently renovated, poses a calm refuge from the hustle and bustle of the old Kemeralti Bazaar.
