A very nice and well looked after village. The buildings and streets have been restored and preserved. During my visit the river wasn't flowing, which was unfortunate. The church, priests house and the old Seljuklu mosque would be the most historic buildings in the area....More

If you are any where near Konya, you must make the time to visit Sille. The village is beautiful. It is like walking through history. The Government has done very well to preserve so much of the Christian History of the area.

I had a lovely time visiting Sille from Konya. It's easy enough to get there by taking a half hour bus (64) that leaves from right near Alaeddin Park. The buses in winter run every half hour, though I don't know if they increase buses...More

Therenwas a lot of snow when I went and it was quite beautiful. I reccomend going if you have already seen everything in town otherwise it depends on your mood.

Sille area in Konya is a historic place. Few people know about it. There are very interesting mosques and churches in the area.

If you have time while visiting Konya you should visit this lovely village. Take bus 64 from Aladdin Hill at the top end of Mevlana Street. Busses leave every 30 minutes and takes about 25 minutes. Get out at the last stop in the village...More

It is a newly organised town with some renovated church. It is ineresting to visit the church then take awalk through the way down to the end where on both sides of the street there are lot of local food serving restaurants and cafe houses.

Only saw your request now. Take city bus number 60 at top end of Mevlana Street opposite Aaladin Hill. Busses runs every 30 minutes and trip is about 30 minutes. Just remember the restored Greek Church Museum is closed on... More
