A good place to pass a few hours, wander around the old part of town with its narrow streets (safe from the traffic) shaded with vines and creepers. Decorated streets (hanging Umbrella's or chinese lanterns- good for photos). Plenty of places to eat or drink.

Went here by water taxi from Calis Beach. The water front is full of boats of all shapes and sizes mainly plying for the trade of taking tourists out on trips. It is a busy town with a mixture of old and new. The old market area is particularly interesting and the Lycian rock tombs above the town are also... More

Walk the promenade and harbour and discuss the price of a day trip in the bay with the ship owners, into the Bazaar and veiw the shops, stop at the Duckpond for refreshments and onto the fish market for lunch or dinner, suggest you try Ruyku's,the restaurant is in the veg.market-you can't miss it

After an evening of horse riding we asked our driver to drop us off in the town. We allowed ourselves to get lost in the side streets and arcade like surroundings. Loads to see and plenty of bargains to be had. Food was not short with the fish market offering freshly cought fish or meats for the meat eaters, restaurants were... More

We stayed here for two nights before hiring a catamaran from Fethiye harbour. Great shops and market stalls. Very clean and welcoming. Lots of great restaurants and some fancy shops as well. Great place. Very friendly people.

Great town with a good selection of oldie worldly shops and a local and fish market. The harbour is well worth walking around where you are spoiled for choice of restaurant. Fresh fish is wonderful here! You can hire all manor of boat here, from a private charter to the boom boom tourist boats! Look up Pegasus Boat outside the... More

The oldest parts of Fethiye are lovely to wander through. The shopping area around the duck pond is especially good with some really lovely good quality shops selling fabulous textiles and handmade goods. Antique carpets and kelims are beautiful colours and then there are the more modern 'take off' products around too. The streets here are covered in vines and... More

The town invites exploration with hundreds of small shops and restaurants and an incredible fish market. The harbour area offers some lovely eating places and dozens of choice for boat trips to various bays and islands.
