Fethiye is more and more being a metropol city... There are many brands, shopping malls, etc. But if you like authenticity, try to find old markets. For example the Fish Market! One can buy the fresh fish then make it cooked in the restaurants nearby!

plenty of shops with no hard sell. All the stall holders were very pleasant and welcoming. The watches were very reasonable and we both bought one. If you pay by credit card make sure you pay in Lira otherwise you get 2 sets of charges

You should be able to get the river boat from calis or a dolmus (local bus) into Fethiye we use both

It is very expensive, Fethiye is close to Oludeniz (10 min.). I recommend you to go to Bodrum instead of Fethiye. Fethiye is not goos at all.
