We came on the dalyan departure for our last day we booked through Thomas cook it was a complete joke the mud bath that was in the picture wasn't the one we arrived at it was more of a puddle with some dirty water, we also went to the restaurant for food and again a nightmare food came at different... Booked as a last day excursion to save staying at the hotel after check out. So glad we went, beautiful day for a cruise down the river taking in the spectacular views including the tombs of the kings carved into the cliffs. It all led to a wonderful visit to turtle beach for a swim in the lovely water. Highly... More

Starting the trip in the small village of Dalyan we boarded our traditional skip with the skipper beaming and welcoming us aboard A wonderful 45 minute trip along the river made famous by the 1950's film The African Queen starring Humphrey Boghart, through beds of bulrushes and pampas grass, stopping en-route to view the magnificent tombs carved into the rock... Brilliant day out, boat to turtle beach, splash about on the beach, boat ride along the river past the tombs and then to the mud baths. Great day!

Cruised down this river on a Dalyan tour. Loved the view of restaurants you drive your boat right up to. Fishing boats and restaurants lined one side of the river, reeds and a view of Tomb of Kings on the other. I enjoyed the scenery immensely. Took a departure day trip to Dalman as we had a flight back to the UK at half past stupid. Great day with a visit to the mud baths and then a trip down the river to Turtle Bay where we fed the turtles with crabs. We were then taken to a local hotel Grand Emir for an evening meal... More

I would recommend everyone to do this trip, It was a nice boat trip down the river, we saw two turtles up close at the side of the boat. We also had chance to have to see and eat blue crabs. Spent time on the beach where the turtles lay their eggs. You can get refreshments at the beach and... More
