The Uganda Wildlife Education Centre is a home to the some rescued and rehabilitated animals. Most of our residents are rescued; victims of bushmeat trade, habitat destruction, or illgeal trade. Listen to interpretative talks from our guides, work as their surrogate mother for a day or spend a night in our hostel or cottages. Secure day and night parking available.

The park / zoo is spread out in a natural manner and the animals seem to have plenty of space and seem quite happy. There is a café at the site, which is on the edge of lake Victoria. A pleasant day out

It is a small park. You can do it 2 hours if you walk slow. I would recommend to visit around the feeding hours. The entry fee was around $12 USD per tourist.
