Awesome place!!! Having joined a group with a guide, you will see and listen about a beautiful church, architecture, three wonderful halls, every one of which has its interesting story. The best time to visit is July-August when the main balcony with terrific view is open for visitors. Definitely best place to travel in summer!!!!

To visit I think you have to join a group tour, given in Ukrainian/Russian. It's beautiful. Make sure you stay close to your group, as various doors are locked after you go through!

Beautiful building and interiors. The architecture is rich and diverse particularly interesting for the period and region. Having a guide who can give you a tour helps a lot to understand the details about the building. The interiors are a must-see for they are amazing.

Magnificent architecture. Former residence of the Bukovynian bishop. A great place for the University that is currently located there

It is a very nice and interesting building. Park behind it is also worth visiting on a nce day. Inside the University you must visit with guided tours and some imrpovements should be made in the interior. There are some nice halls and objects but it is not extremly interesting. Church is a better part and beautiful. For architecture lovers... More

The Chernivtsi University campus is an extraordinary combination of religious buildings and academic halls. Delightful, architecturally fascinating and accessible. One can take a guided tour in English, but not when we showed up, however, simply wandering around was ample. I loved it
