Must see in Samarkand. Great mausoleum only superseded by its history and those encased. Intricate level of detail of its interior and its sheer size make it worth a visit already regardless of its history

The Mausoleum contains not just Timor but other great leaders from the region, the internal decor is wonderful and is worth the small entrance fee
