Beach is full of sand bags stopping the total sand hill being eroded. I feel very sorry for the beach operators/vendors. They are starting to bring sand back from other areas to replenish the beaches.....a long haul

I couldn’t believe my resort gave me a map to get to this Apocalyptic looking, completely sandbagged beach when just a few kilometres away is the lovely An Bang beach.

The beach is all gone,it’s covered with sand bags,so sad really! The closest beach is An Bang beach which is absolutely stunning,would definitely recommend that one instead!

Cycled from our hotel in Hoi An to find the beach non existent & instead, lines of sandbags. Apparently there was a big storm (not sure when) that washed the beach away and the sandbags are in place to help it recover. Our hotel owner...More

Lots of fun to go in these basket boats. They take you threw the coconut forest and show you how to use the reeds. This is a real art. Go and enjoy

My hotel has a shuttle service (Lotus hotel) to the beach, went on a rainy & a very cold, afternoon. We were the only people at the beach, which was quite nice. I'm not sure if it's like that always, but I liked the idea...More

Lovely beach, great local food eating with out big toe in the sand. Dion't miss it. Away from Hoi An only a five minute ride away but a different world

nice peaceful time out on my solo trip. i was at silk beach club on cua dai beach, a short 3km bicycle ride from hoi an ancient town. good waves, clean fine sand beach, good vibes, nice weather... i enjoyed my me-time at cua dai.

You will fly into Danang not Hoi An. Hoi An is not really a big town as far as travel times go. Any hotel will be able to arrange a cheap fast transfer for you. The taxis are an option also although language could be an... More
