I did this yesterday with JB, and was completely blown away. The keepers look after and love the animals they're working with. The guide will take your camera and take photos of you with the lions. Their in house videographer takes video of your experience which is available for you to purchase at the end. You will be able to... More

It was a little weirded. The concept of walking with lions is a little odd any way. The guides are nice.

I was dubious about interacting with these animals as I had heard it was cruel but due to lions being endangered it is now vital to save them and assist in getting them out and about as such. We walked with 8 month old cubs who were gradually venturing more on their own. During the buffet breakfast you learn about... More

The lion walk (which can be combined with cheetah walk and elephant ride), is one of the best experiences in Livingstone. The male and female lions can be pet and you can walk with them for about 1/2 hour. There is plenty of opportunity for taking pictures with them, which the friendly staff there offers. A wonderful experience.

A lifetime of experience - you get an hour by yourself with the Lions. These are young lions, probably an year old. the walk with the lion in jungles is breath taking.

I knew when booking the lion walk that it was going to be very touristy but I was still disappointed. The experience was a bit on the boring side. You take turns walking beside lions who just want to roam and have nothing to do or look at when youre pushed aside so everyone can get a picture walking beside... More

This was truly a once in a lifetime experience! The guides were fantastic, knowledgeable, and we felt safe the entire time. We had more than an hour of the two cubs which were 11 months old. We got to touch and pet them. Even walk along side of them. Afterwards they provided us a light snack and drinks which wasn't... More

The Lion Encounter is a 4 phase project to get lions back into the wild safely. It was very interesting and fun to walk with them and learn about the process they go thru. Once in a lifetime experience. Great experience.

Let me explain. It is an amazing experience to walk or touch a lion. It definitely is. Unique, once in a lifetime and i appreciate myself i ve done this. But... i believe that it is extremely expensive to pay 150$ per person for only walking with two 8 month cabs. Surely i didn't wait to see giant male lions,... More
