Although so very beautiful, it appears to me the owners and top management are letting the service and kitchen staff down. We went for lunch recently on the balcony and it was as if the staff did not have the right ingredients. We had cheddar on the Pizza, not Mozarella, the base was so hard it must have been re... This was a wonderful stay. The porter greeted us and helped to carry our luggage. The reception staff were very courteous and friendly. The room was wonderful but there was no t.v. I was told that they were in the process of installing new ones. Sigh.Dinner was wonderful. The generator kicked in as soon as the power went out. Breakfast... More

Of the dotted casinos in the province this is probably the best. Chips are a bit pricey but all common games and fruit machines are available.

As expressed in my review of the Leopard Rock Hotel, there are a range of indoor and outdoor facilities available, apparently even a casino, which, as a non gambler, I did not set foot into. I was busy exploring the game sanctuary and the golf course, but I am sure those who like to roll the dice will be happy... More

If you ever travel in Zimbabwe as I have extensively. You sometimes feel like you are stepping back in time. This was an English colony and in many ways those values are still there. The Hotel was built in the 20's and is elegant. The food is simple but very good and presented well. They don't really know the wine... More

Best ever resort Scenetic views from the veranda balcony. Untapped fresh air, nature at its best. A life time resort one cannot afford to miss. Found in the Scenetic mountainous mountains of Vumba in Mutare Manicaland province.

A place for a romamntic getaway or simply a retreat from the hustle of daily life. Nestled in the lush greens, one gets a sense of being in a serene space. A golfers' paradise.
