By visiting the exhibition you can view 4 of the 23 floats and can imagine how impressive the festivals are when 11 or 12 floats will be driving through the streets of Takayama. By seeing them, you want to come back and experience it yourself!

Very short for the cost. Float hall is not good if you don't understand Japanese. Do nearby shrine and temple walk instead which is free.

We enjoyed seeing the beautiful festival floats and imagining the spring and autoumn festivities, during which theses floats are paraded. If you are in Takayama- don't ,iss this colkorful exhibition.
