Scenery on the bridge is spectacular. That’s why Kappa bridge is the signature spot of kamikochi. Must selfie on the bridge with mountain/ river background.

We were rather unlucky when we arrived Kamikochi because of the typhoon attack to Japan covering this part of the National Park. There were not much visitors around because of the windy surrounding and some parts of the Park had been closed for visitors to...More

This bridge is part of Kamikochi National Park. It’s worth spending as many hours as you can spare walking round this Park. The ponds, bridges and mountains are glorious and an added bonus is seeing the wild monkeys up close in their natural environments

Kappa bridge is the starting point for a nice walk in nature. 3.5 KM to Myojin bridge on one side of the river and another 3.5 KM back on the other side with a nice short visit to Myojin pond. The trail is well organised....More

We visited this touristy bridge in Kamigochi national park in Fall. The crowd of tourists flocked on the bridge, so please go early in the morning to get best picture with checking weather in advance for sunshine. Nearby is hotel/resthouse and souvenirs, and snacks' shops.

Did the usual touristy thing and got photos and selfies on and near the bridge. A nice spot to sit and relax or walk around. The water running underneath it was quite amazing, absolutely crystal clear from the melting snow up in the mountains.

IT is just a bridge in a picturesque village that is the setting off point for Alpine walking. I'm afraid it isn't spectacular in any way, although it is useful for crossing the river!

Once you walk the 300 meters from the bus terminal (take the "river" not the "forest" path), you will arrive at the main juncture of the valley. Most tourist lodges are within a few meters and on both sides of the bridge. There is a...More

Must-go bridge. It is a busy bridge that many people walk back and forth & take photos. The surroundings are very nice - blue and clear river + mountain view.

This wooden suspension bridge known as a symbol of this mountain resort. From this point you can see Mt. Hodaka range and the scenery is so bueatiful at any time. I used to take photos at 6am with the early mist over the river.

You can drive to park at the spot provided for boarding bus to the visitor center in Kamigochi. It's the nearest point to go to Nippon bashi.
