Seikenji Temple is known by avid Japanese history fans as a place where young Iyeyasu Tokugawa who later became the first shogun of Edo government was given education while he was in hostage. One of the highlights is "gohyaku-rakan" or five-hundred desciples of Buddha . It is said that you can find someone familar among these statues. Garden is nice... More
