visited in december 2016, christmas eve. Bridge and place was nicely lighted with fairy lights. Ducks swimming in the pond. A few benches available to sit down, catch your breath and appreciate the scenery. There is also a starbucks in the park but it was quite crowded. Good place to visit considering that the city does not many have attractions.

We cycled to the park from our apartment to the park in search of Starbucks Coffee and we certainly were not disappointed. The scenery that greeted us made us speechless. We had our latte at the patio overlooking the sun set on Tenmon-kyo. The coolest Starbucks Coffee that I ever stumbled upon...what a great surprise!

It is a must visit. Built around an artificial pond, this lovely setting is beautifully attached and well kept. It even has an arch bridge. We also visited it at night as the light up is outstanding. Have a coffee at the biggest Starbucks in Japan and enjoy the view and cool air. Catch a photo by the artificial waterfall.

We had two hours to wait in Toyama while changing trains and decided to visit this park. It's not huge, but has a coffee shop and a few lakes and good places to sit. It's close enough to the station to take some time to relax here while waiting for a train.

This lovely area is a great retreat from the city! Enjoy strolling around the picturesque canals and gardens. See the lovely reflections on the water. Enjoy a quiet cruise down the waterways. Watch the birds flying in and around the park.

There is a beautiful Starbucks nearby the river, so, we spent a morning having breakfast there. Don't miss it if you are fans of Starbucks.

Many people focused on mentioning the Starbucks in this Park so we wanted to have a look at nite. Too many people were in the Starbucks and we couldn't get a seat. We would say this shop has an excellent view of the canal park. Nothing special! The park itself is beautiful. The lighting of the bridge changes colors -... More

Good place to watch the sunset, a Starbucks beside the river, and there's a boat ride to take. But a bit far to walk to. Recommend to rent a bicycle.

I'ts kinda hard to reach this place, as there's no tram line nearby the park. So, from the JR Toyama Station, it's about 15minutes walk or so. I recommend to come here sround sunset, there's lights illuminate throughout the lake (or pond).

I've been here several times with my then girlfriend and now wife, and now altogether with our baby. Great spot for a walk, to take pictures, have a leisured conversation, and get coffee. Best spot in the city in my opinion. Enjoy:)
