park full of so much history. It was peaceful and relaxing walking around here. Don't forget to stop by the magistrate's office located right in the middle of the park. Great place for a stroll and bike riding.

Would have been spectacular but the snow had fallen and delayed the blossoms. Still an interesting park lots of history. A great place for a summer picnic

Interesting place to visit. We took a walk around the whole place to get a feel of the structure of the fort, pretty interesting design. You can buy yummy ice cream inside the park.

Visited during end of May, and there wasn't anything in particular to see. Would probably be a great place to visit during sakura season though. There's also a pretty good soft serve ice cream available inside the park.

Hakodate has an excellent tram system with a stop close to the park. It's about a 10 minute ride from the centre. Your cruise ship will probably provide a shuttle bus to the town. Enjoy Peter
