Very pretty, just like the pictures. Also very peacefule...no tourists except us! We thought that this might be difficult to find. Very easy with information from the information desk at the train station in Gora. Very flat and easy walk (as opposed to most hikes in the area).

We happened to stay near these falls and took a walk there as recommended by our hotel. The path was a bit hard to find but once we found it, the walking was easy. The falls were lovely and worth the walk (about 30 minutes in our case). It was a pleasant activity at the end of a busy day.... More

What a waste of time! Especially if you try to approach it from the high access point (one bus stop up the hill from the station) - but at least you go downhill. Completely unmarked route, requiring many tries up the garden path and asking locals.. And then... you get to a little trickle over a stones. :-(( What an... More

since i went in summer, there's nothing special. It's. famous for autumn and winter. transportation is convenient.

I found these falls on Trip Advisor and I'm so glad I got off at the Station for the short walk. When you exit the station, there is one little sign at the road. Continue on the road ahead that slopes upward only after you've memorized the name of the falls in Japanese. That one little sign is the only... More
