This place is very near to Sakuragichō Subway Station. Around 500 metres, marvelous to walk around. From this Promenade, you can have lovely view of Yokohama city.

This promenade was an old railway line including remaining bridges. It joins JR Sakuragichō Station to the waterfront boardwalk to Yamashita Park. You will experience a necklace of gardens & parks with magnificent views, creative art, and people enjoying life without any vehicular traffic. Home to many major attractions it highlights are Cosmo World amusement park, stand up paddle boarding on the river channels, Queen's Square, Landmark Tower, Marine & Walk, Red Brick Warehouse, Osanbashi Pier, Cupnoodle Museum, several historic ships, Art, Maritime, & Silk Museums, a wide variety of eateries and cafes, and much more.

This waterfront walkway also known as Kaiko Promenade, reminded me of a mini NYC High Line walk, with old railway track and bridges. You can get here by simply walking from Rinko Park (north) - it connects - or from Yamashita Park (South). One way takes about an hour. Restrooms along the way, and plenty of spots to rest. Quite lovely!

This is a great area to walk or just sit and relax in the evening. We like to sit and watch the sunset and the lights of the area. It is comfortable during the evening with music playing from the speakers.

The whole Minato Mirai area is truly amazing place and this promenade is just one part of the new modern area of Yokohama... and truly is perfect place to enjoy modern Yokohama cityscape... Take a walk along this pedestrian paradise and enjoy!

Full of cherry blossom during spring, it is a popular area. But it isn't very special: just a bridge that used for train bypassing.

Part of the famous Minato Mirai 21, Shinko District side. This is a beautiful walk next to the sea. Plenty of cafes, restaurants, shopping and Yokohama Cosmoworld, a amusement park for young children.

This pleasant waterfront boardwalk connects the commercial areas of Yokohama and is the perfect place to start exploring the city. Surrounded by some of the most visible skyscrapers and attractions in Japan's second-largest city, the promenade is a peaceful thoroughfare day and night.

The promenade is a nice place for a leisurely walk. Better to come at night. We came in the evening just before the sun set.
