Very nice park, for having a stroll and enjoy the sea-view.

Very nice park, for having a stroll and enjoy the sea-view. Many people with dogs, so if you are a dog lover, this is a great place. Nice place for a picnick.

I cannot say much, because February is not the right time for a stroll among the flowers in this part, I am sure that the park is beautiful in spring and summer.

I stayed at an AirBnB in nearby Yokohama Chinatown. I went out running every morning during my stay along the Yokohama Waterfront. My run started in Yamashita Park. It was a beautiful park with a nice promenade along the waterfront with an excellent view of the other parts of the waterfront.

A sunny day in January, perfect. It's not so much the park itself that is worth the visit, more the waterside promenade. The harbour front is busy, many things to see, and the water is clear. The park links to many of the main attractions in Yokohama such as the Ferry Terminal, Minato Mirai, and The Brick Warehouse complex.

Yamashita Park, located just a few streets away from Yokohama Chinatown and Motomachi shopping street is a beautiful park to have a stroll and enjoy the beautiful harbor view of Minato Mirai 21. Highly recommended if you have extra time and would love to have a good walk. We walked from the park all the way back to Minato Mirai... More

We enjoyed walking through the park but due to the season was not looking at its best. Blooming flowers and blossoms in spring would be the best time to visit. Glad we saw the statue of 'A little girl with red shoes on' after hearing about the background story.

Yamashita park is one of my favorite places to go, lazy wkends I go there and watch the hikawa maru and seagulls, easy access, beautiful rose garden, great place for picnic or small family gathering, but wkends it is little bit overcrowded

We visited this waterfront park in the evening after visiting the nearby Chinatown. You have a great view of the harbour from the park. Minato Mirai 21 is also visible from the park. There is a wide promenade fronting the harbour running next to the park. The ship, Hikawa Maru, is a floating museum moored in Yamashita Park.
