An engineering marvel which is also a work of art! Illuminated at night which is a stunning addition to the port.

Yokohama Bay Bridge is part of the Shuto Expressway and is across the Tokyo Bay. It is a cable stayed bridge by design and a real architecture beauty by construction. It's a double deck bridge and constructed in such a way to survive the earthquake threats that are common in the area. Great place to have a trip through...

This is a very impressive double deck bridge that you pass under coming into Yokohama harbor, and when crossing it you get a great view of the harbor, docks and marine traffic. It appears to be very well constructed in view of the ever present earthquake threat.

If you're fortunate enough to cruise into Yokohama then you'll really enjoy going under the Bay bridge. For those that just want to view it from afar, then a good place for this would be Osanbashi Pier. Sunrise here is beautiful as it rises behind, and at night it's lit up well also.

An architectural masterpiece on the sea in the Yokohama bay area. Best viewed either while taking a ride on the sea ferry or from the Passenger terminal deck. A great place for some photography and enjoying the sea breeze along the coast.

What a beautiful bridge! And the view from the bridge is even better. A great view of Minotamirai and the area. It's worth a taxi ride over and back just for the view. The limousine bus to the airport offers a great view from up high.

I did not have high expectations of a bridge looking ordinary from the pictures, but reality was even more disappointing. It's far from the port area you will likely visit, but probably there would be nothing to look at even from close distance. Just a bridge, anyway.

Its like any normal bridge in any city- NY, SF etc. There isnt much to see. You can get a view of the bridge from Red Brick Warehouse. There is not much to see around. It can be avoided.

I think the San Francisco-Bay Bridge was copied from this o.ne! The similarities are just so darn unbelievable
