Yokohama surprised me pleasantly with the many beautiful parks. In a land where the cities have many pretty green areas (i.e., Japan), Yokohama takes it to another higher level. This park is one of the lovely ones there.

Lovely relaxing spot to have a break in a busy work do. Many locals have a picnic lunch there. Get good views over the harbour.

The weather was a bit cloudy but warm and it if so, it is nice to have a walk on the park. Find a bench and relax , spend some time watching around or talking to friends.

I knew this park as a child and it has improved! Beautiful flower beds with flowers everywhere. Lots of benches and places to look out at the harbour.

We were here in May 2017. The gardens are wonderful, a wild profusion of fragrant roses, one one of the most impressive floral displays I have ever seen. The views of the harbour are also quite magnificent. You will be glad to visit this attraction
