We drove to Nikko. Along the way we drove up to Ryuzu waterall. Nothing much to see just to capture the scenery. Very windy and cold during winter time not many people visiting this place.

take the walk behind here. Amazing. We saw wild monkeys. Take a map, because we got turned around and walk ed more than we should have! :) the boardwalk was particularly beautiful. Cool temps even in summer.

There was parking beside Ryuzu bridge, and you can enjoy hike to cafe. It might take more than 10 minutes. It was really good hike watching with color leaves beside river.

To reach there, you have to take the bus for about 1 hour from the station. Worth it though. The waterfall is very beautiful, and we can enjoy the view while sitting on the bench right next to the waterfall.

Another must-see spot in Oku-Nikko, it's easily accesible, complete with a teahouse and a gift shop. The autumn colours are gorgeous and it's definitely worth a visit.
