We took the bus all the way from Nikko which took about 1 hour, then followed a very well marked and easy walking paths down to the waterfalls. I would recommend going!

Take thr bus to Yumoto Onsen and walk along the lake all the way to Yudaki falls. It is recommended especially during autumn fall.

It is located just minutes from Lake Churenji in Okunikko (Upper Nikko). It is a beautiful drive and can be hiked in an all-day hike. Be sure and visit Yutaki Falls nearby.

This lake is much smaller than the Chuzenji Lake but it is quieter and hence more appealing. The hike around the lake passes through forests and is very interesting.
