This museum as they call it is really cool. It is more of a scenic walk through caverns. Bring a light jacket. Also, check out the giant Buddha carved out of Oya stone up the road! Look up Oya stone on google before you go....More

Admission is at ¥800/pp. This old Oya Stone quarry is now a History Museum on the mining of Oya Stone unique in Utsunomiya. The underground quarry is chilly as it is underground and huge. It is also use for special exhibitions and events.
