The performance was amazing, definitely watch it if you can. We arrived on the 25th anniversary and we got a tiny free photo of us. The normal size version was only 1000 yen. We saw lots of interesting animals. Loved the sea otters and capybara and we bought some adorable souvineers. The entrance fee was 2500 yen per person.

Despite not being a modern Acquarium, I still find it interesting and charming. Good way to start or round off a day ... lots of interesting species of marine life and even saw some big cats!

Relatively small but nicely packed in ~1000 species. We spent 1.5hrs and saw many rare species for the first time. It's definitely worth a visit for anyone coming to Toba.

It is a small aquarium and it looks a little out dated but I really like it. It is a real surprised to see their shows real closed, only a few steps in front of me. The walrus show, the penguin walk, and the seal show are running at least twice a day. After the show is over, you can... More

For such a small aquarium, there are sure a lot of exhibits at this aquarium! It is broken down into 12 different areas, including an Amazon River exhibit, Dugong exhibit, and Japanese species exhibit. There were also rare fin-less porpoises on display. One thing that amazed me about this aquarium was the inclusion of non-aquatic species, like the capabara and... More

If you have not been to other more famous aquarium in Japan, that will work. But this is not for those who had visit the larger and more modern aquarium. Some people took the cruise from Ise as a package and it seems to add to the excitement, plus you can enjoy the lovely bay area to the fullest.

I've been surprise that I saw capivara in the aquarium. I'm from Brazil and there has a lot of it. Nice accessibility and easy to find the places that you want. One of the biggest aquarium in Japan.

Me, my husband and My son enjoyed our visit there. The price is quite okay but It's quite small. I'vebeen expectingto see a tunnel aquarium but none. But it's okay.

This is a perfect destination for the whole family. They claim to be have the most variety of species. Some of them are rarely seen. We enjoyed the performances a lot with great interaction and participation.

Visited with seniors and kid. Good for both ages. There are various show every 30 minutes. And the sea animals are so near to the audiences, and very safe too. The elderly and kid enjoyed so much on the show. Though it is not very much but they have quite rare sea creature like the "mermaid" and the "black and... More
