Even in the winter, Ohiri Park is lovely. Lots of people strolling around the lake. Late January, the swan boats were returned to the lake giving us hope that spring may be on the way. The gardens must be beautiful in season.

quiet clean nice park to visit and stroll around. Dont expect anything fancy since there are really no fancy attractions except the beautiful body of water as the centerpiece.

Wandered through the park on a very rainy day. Thoroughly enjoyed the lake, especially the mini recreation of West Lake in Hangzhou.

My family enjoyed our stroll around the park. There were some other tourists and Japanese students gathering around the park. As the weather was really comfortable, we enjoyed the walk and view in the park.

This is the place to see and be seen in Fukuoka. This is the location of the annual fireworks show (quite amazing) and hordes of daily walkers, joggers and couples. Must see if visiting Fukuoka.

We went during the mid-December period, when Fukuoka and surrounds were very chilly. The park itself was lovely - it was large and there was much foliage. However, because we went in winter, there wasn't much foliage. The pavilion in the middle of the lake,...More
