You can get here by taking the 300/301/302/304 bus from Hakata or Tenjin Station. It is about a 30 minute drive from Tenjin Station to the Meinohama Boat Terminal. It costs about 400 Yen from Tenjin. The boat is going each hour and costs 420...More

I went here on summer and it is not the good idea if you ask. The island is beatiful not too big but not too small. You can see the beautiful sea view, but summer here is really bad.

I've been here three times and only one good experience. In October, 2013 the flowers were magnificent, but in August of 2015 and May of this year there was very little to see.

Cosmos is in bloom October and early November. Dahlia can be seen in early October.

Both regular and electric bike can be hired near the ferry port. You can't enter the park by bike, though.
