Try to get here! Although I was the only customer that day as raining, but nevermind! have the all park by myself is nice! Haha! There were many beautiful flora to see and all of them are beautiful. レストラン防人 was delicious and the staff there was very friendly! Try to have a stay here for 5000/pax which was pretty cheap!... I rated this 3 because there were not much flowers in season during my visit, but still enjoy my time there. I saw Japanese camellia, scarlet sage and cosmos. I only got to see them in Japan. Next time, I want to see tulips~ Transportation is very easy, Fukuoka tourist pass covered the bus rides, except the ferry fare of... More

For those using public transport, you can purchase the Nishitetsu 1 day bus pass, which will cover the bus rides from Hakata station to ferry terminal, the bus on Nokonoshima Island to the park, and other Nishitetsu bus that you want to take within Fukuoka city. I went in mid Oct and luckily, cosmos flowers were still blooming. On a... More

It's easy to get to the island by taking a short ferry trip, no need to book in advance but queues for the return ferries can be extremely long. We chose to cycle around the island, great fun despite some steep slopes! The views from the flower park are stunning on a clear day. i'd recommend a day trip if... More

I had a fun day at Nokonoshima walking around with my friends, checking out the Island Park that you have to pay for, but is very flowery and fun for selfies. There is also a beach that has a sort of abandoned resort but is nice. I probably wouldn't go though if I was just at Fukuoka for a few... More

Come here to play a weird, exaggerated form of golf X croquet. It's super fun. Then head to the village for some craft making such as pottery.

It took me a while to get to the island but it was absolutely stunning. The sunflowers were in full bloom and the view from the island is stunning. I spent about 2-3 hours on the island. I think spring is the best time to visit but there are flowers blooming throughout the year.

They said the best time to visit is on spring when the flower bloom. However it's good enough on summer, clear sky, maintained trees & plants and there is a spot where you can enjoy both flower bed and blue sea. A group of kindergarten visited on their school trip and they seems enjoy it. Although my Japanese and the... More
