It's on the major tourists' shopping street, but it's an alley, an alley with a solid walkway, off-shoot sidewalks and halls that are tentacle-like in relation to the main walkway, countless colorful shops and stalls, and a fish market that is a photographer's delight.

Excellent shopping street for all that souvenir or funky "only in okinawa" clothing item or shoes. That said, if you are taller than 1.78m and wear shoes larger than a US 8, don't bother looking for clothes or funky shoes
