Book the boat and see the whirlpool wave timing in advance. It really worth seeing. For one who easily feel dizzy, go for the big boat as they are 2 options.

I went to see them at the end of December. I've heard they're larger in the spring or autumn, but in the winter they're rather small and I only caught a few eddies by the side of the boat.

The straits at the entrance to Osaka Harbor produce some interesting whirlpools that can be seen from a walkway on the suspension bridge adjacent to Naruto Park. Plenty of glass to facilitate the viewing. There are also boat tours. High tide is the best time....More
