Enjoy the wine tasting. But pay attention to the names of the wines. There are stories behind the names. Then ask to hear one of the stories, or even the history, of the manor. Good fun!

$30 per person for basic egg salad/turkey/ham sandwiches, mini scones, cucumbers, and a pudding dessert. The stories of hauntings around the area were not that interesting, the house was not decorated for fall, and overall, it felt as though very little effort was put into creating this event. We did not sample any of their wines.

Sorry the tea did not meet your expectations. It has been one of our popular events that has been well received. Many of the guests did stay to chat afterward and taste the wine. We always appreciate feedback and would have enjoyed hearing your opinions in person. More

So glad you could visit! One of the fun things about being at winery is you can taste outside your normal range, which you can't do at a liquor store. Looking forward to your next visit. More

if you have some extra time on your journey stop in at the winery, taste some wine and listen to the history of the house. This is featured on the haunted history trail of new York state, we were expecting a bit more from a 'haunted' perspective, but the history is cool, very affordable and what I really liked, the... We were one of the first to have our wedding reception at Marjim Manor in November, 2005. It was beautiful! Owners Margo and Jim and their crew put so much effort into decorating the manor for the holiday season and were extremely accommodating and gracious hosts. The manor is an old nun's retreat with many rooms which have been restored.... More

The winery at Marjim Manor is one of our favorite wineries to visit on the Niagara Wine trail. The Manor itself just exudes character, and is said to be haunted. Margo, the lady of the Manor, is very charming and goes out of her way to make every visit an event. The particular weekend that we visited, they were making... More

This place was turned into a wine business. This use to be a nun's retreat in the summer time years ago. They say the place is haunted and the guys from Ghost Hunters have been here a couple of time and found it to be haunted. They have some great wines here also and a great place for tasting different... More

Marjim Manor was our first stop for the Niagara Harvest Festival. The owner welcomed us at the door with a smile and was so welcoming and friendly. There is so much history to this property and we were treated to the story of the history and the shots stories. The wine was delicious. I mentioned that I've driven by traveling... More

Nice location amongst apple orchards. They have an old Victorian mansion that is somewhat well maintained. The owners/staff have great attitude and very welcoming. You get 4 coupons for 3 $ per person and the wine list is generous. They specialize in fruit wines and most of them (>80%) can be used as nice novel dessert wines (from apples to... More

The owner is at the door to greet each guest, the tasting room staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. A very unique selection of 100 fruit wines. Go for the wine but be on the lookout for the spirits. There is a very "entertaining" story about the house be sure and ask to hear it.
