Interesting place to walk around, not that much to see per se but the whole area itself is very nice to wander through as the park is next to it and the general Japnese aesthetic is nice.

Unless you want the long walk and hard climb, don't bother. It's not worth the while to get to the top and see nothing much of the ruins.

Nothing interesting to see here unless you want to kill time by sitting around the park. There's a Japanese garden/tea house you can visit for a fee.

There is really not much to see. I expected to see at least the location of the castle, but I could not see it. However, it would be very nice to have a jog there.

From the castle is not much left but its really nice to see how easy going the true Japanese life style is. you can easily feel like 200 years ago walking here

Although Tokushima is surrounded by many hills (OK, not surrounded, since it is a port) the Ruins of Tokushima Castle (hey TripAdvisor- if a human actually reads these before posting, someone might want to correct "Catsle" to "Castle") is the only on-building that allows you to get higher than pedestrian crossing bridges, so if you want to climb anywhere, and... The beautiful stone walls and part of the moat are all that's left but that's enough. Especially when the cherry trees are blooming. You can also climb the hill - by dirt path or steps - and have a nice view of the city and enjoy the cherry trees in bloom at the top.
